The Enterprise Academy
The Real Skills for Life Course
This course bridges the gap from education to the working world. We work with each student to ensure they are prepared to get the right position to start their career. The focus of the day is realistic goal setting, preparing an effective bespoke CV which will be successful in the real working world. The finale of the day is a real life interview held with real employers and honest feedback. This is a fantastic course that will benefit any student leaving education for the working world.
Confidence vs. Communication
The course is designed for both the over confident student and the student who lacks confidence which is holding them back. The course is set in a low pressured environment but will really address confidence and communication issues looking at building confidence and using it in both work and personal situations. Students will gain an understanding of what is communication and how to deliver it, as well as reviewing their body language and learning to overcome their internal barriers and fulfil their full potential.
The above courses are for one day and subject to maximum numbers with all students leaving with a personal development plan.
The Enterprise Challenge
This is the ultimate in Enterprise competitions. Designed for up to 60 students to experience the set up and operation of a business operating in a real life situation. Ruth launches the event and gives individual mentoring to each team. This is normally a 4-6 week challenge where teams go head to head, resulting in a prize evening being held with a speech and trophies presented by Ruth. This competition is really good value for money, excellent for morale and addressing enterprise within a year group.
All Enterprise work is carried out on School, College or University premises nationwide.
